Every time I drive past the vacant Port Credit Post Office on Lakeshore at Stavebank I can picture it housing a year-round indoor (and outdoor, check out the rear parking area) Port Credit Farmers’ Market.  Think St. Lawrence Market Lite.

Perhaps it’s the age, style or location of the building.  Maybe it’s the lack thusfar of any other plausible adaptive re-uses.  Not sure.

But I can see the place full of fresh veggies and bacon on a bun on Saturday morning.
