The City of Mississauga is currently conducting a series of Public Information Sessions to present their draft five year plans in the areas of libraries, recreation and parks and natural areas.

The Library Report makes no specific mention of the previously announced $2.5 million retro-fit of the Port Credit Library scheduled to begin in June 2010 nor does the Recreation Report comment on the already announced renovation of the Port Credit Arena scheduled to commence in March 2010.

The only Port Credit area session will be held today at the Mississauga Seniors Centre at 1389 Cawthra Road, adjacent to the Cawthra Community Centre (Google Map).  There is an afternoon open house from 1:30pm until 2:00pm followed directly by a meeting until 4:00pm.

An evening open house will take place from 6:30pm until 7:00pm, again directly followed by a meeting until 9:00pm.
