Mississauga - Officers from the Homicide Bureau are currently investigating an early morning altercation in the Hurontario Street and Dundas Street East area of Mississauga, which left a 23 year-old Brampton resident dead. This is Peel Regional Police's first homicide of 2012.
On Sunday, March 18, 2012, at approximately 1:45 a.m., police responded to a disturbance call. Upon arrival, police located the victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim has since been identified as Jarvis MASCARENHAS.
