Earlier this week the Port Credit Business Association hosted an evening to announce the complete list of summer events in Port Credit. And it's a long list.

The 2010 Mississauga Waterfront Festival -- which opens tonight at 5pm in Port Credit Memorial Park -- ushers in what is guaranteed to be a busy summer around town.
Bedouin Soundclash headlines Friday night with a 9:30pm performance on the Main Stage. Opening are Leela Gilday (7pm) and Michael Rault (8pm). The grounds close at 11:30pm.
Saturday Jim Cuddy is on the Main Stage (9:30pm) following The Sadies (8pm) with the park again closing at 11:30pm.
Sunday the Festival is open from 10am to 7pm with a variety of musical acts on the Main Stage and in the park.
Paint the Town Red
On Canada Day Port Credit will celebrate two birthdays: Canada's 143rd and Port Credit's 175th! They'll be a full day of activities at Port Credit Memorial Park (yes, there's cake!), a parade throught Port Credit and fireworks to end the day. www.paintthetownred.ca
Port Credit Art Show
The weekend of July 16th-18th Credit Village Marina at the mouth of the Credit River will once again play host to the annual outdoor art show and sale.
Port Credit Buskerfest 5
They're back. And some of them are on stilts. The weekend of August 20th-22nd the 5th edition of Buskerfest is back in Port Credit. Fire shall be eaten and chainsaws are sure to be juggled.
Port Credit In-Water Boat Show
It's the 20th anniversary for this ever popular in (and out) of water boat show and sail. Power or sail you're certain to be impressed with the selection of new and used vessels for sale. Port Credit Harbour Marina, 1 Port St. E. www.portcreditboatshow.ca
The Southside Shuffle (aka The Port Credit Blues and Jazz Festival)
With over 120 Canadian and international acts the Shuffle has grown to become one the the premier jazz and blues fests in Canada. This year the Shuffle takes place the weekend of September 10th - 12th. Do not miss the Street Shuffle on Saturday afternoon when Lakeshore Rd. is closed to traffic and the music (and dancers) take over the street. www.southsideshuffle.com
