The Harp Restaurant & Pub offers Turkey dinners with all the trimming at no charge to customers and guests who bring in some non-perishable food items in support of the Mississauga Food Bank. This event takes place on Sunday December 19, 2010 beginning at 2pm and while supplies last.
Port Credit (Mississauga), Ontario, December 15, 2010 - Victor J. Deschenes and The Harp Restaurant & Pub are excited to announce that on Sunday, December 19th from 2 pm - 7 pm (or while supplies last) we are offering free turkey dinners to all guests who bring in a non-perishable food item which will ultimately be donated to the Mississauga Food Bank.
Victor Deschenes, who is providing the turkeys for this initiative said, "I always try to do things for members of our community that have not had the same luck in life as have I or some of my friends. The Harp has supported many important community initiatives, and this is one that is close to the heart during this festive season."
Cameron Pikul, co-owner of The Harp said, "This is the season where many of us are planning our family feasts and it's appropriate to think of those who may just be concerned about putting food on the table for their families. This initiative, along with the many other campaigns within the local community and beyond, is an important part of what makes Port Credit unique and the best place in Canada to live, work and play."
